Guardian Theme: Adding your Colors, Logo, and Favicon to Enroll

What is the Guardian Theme?

Found under Settings > Guardian Theme, admins have the ability to customize the branding of the family experience in Enroll. This allows organizations to have a consistent theme across their external district or school website and a consistent guardian experience in Enroll.

Admins with the `Manage Theme` permission can take the following actions::

• Upload Logo
• Upload Favicon (small icon on your browser tab)
• Set Primary and Secondary Colors
• Preview Color Selections for Accessibility
• Update Footer Text

Managing the Guardian Theme

Upload Logo

Use the `Choose File` button to select your logo image file. Note that only JPF or PNG files are supported and the recommended size is 232 pixels wide by 84 pixels high at 72 DPI resolution.

Upload Favicon
Use the `Choose File` button to select your favicon image file. Note that only PNG files are supported and the recommended size is 32 pixels wide by 32 pixels high.

Primary and Secondary Colors
Using the pencil icon next to each color block, use the slider dot across the color spectrum to select each color. You also have the option of entering a hexadecimal, RGB, or HSL color code.

Preview Your Colors for Accessibility

The preview panel displays how your primary and secondary color selections will appear to your families, including buttons and text on the guardian dashboard.

If your color selections do not pass web accessibility standards (a contrast measurement that is less than 3:1) a warning message will appear.

Use the pencil icon next to each color to test which shade, when selected, removes the warning message. Note: the system will not block you from selecting and saving your desired colors.

Footer Message

Use the text editor box to update the content found on the footer of the guardian view.

Please note that the customized branding of your Enroll site is only available for the family-facing side, and not the admin side.
