Overview
The Admin User import can be used in a variety of cases:
- to create admin users in Enroll
- to revoke admin access
- to update admin user groups
- to update admin program and grade access
The permission "Edit Administrators" is needed to create and update Admin users without needing "Edit Groups" access.
Required Fields
Review the following required fields needed to create a new admin user, and optional fields to include in your CSV import file:

| All Programs Grades | admin_users.all_programs_grades | Required if the "All Programs Access" input "all" (no quotes) to give access to all grades, or keep empty if you need to set specific grades. |

Required if the "All Programs Access" field=0. Input as comma-separated list of program IDs. *If the admin user already had access to a program, and the user is being updated again via the import, the existing program access will be revoked if the program id is not present in the csv. |

CSV File
- Your column headers cannot contain special characters or spaces, only underscores are permitted
- Separate CSV files are required when creating users v. updating users
Steps to Import Admin Users
Admin user imports are only available via an ad hoc connection in Sync Service. Consult this help article to learn how to set up an ad hoc connection.
1. On the connection card, click the "Configure Mapping" button.
2. Select the “Import Admin Users Mapping” tab on the left.
3. Use the "Upload CSV File" button to select your admin user file.
4. Fill in the three (3) fields below from your spreadsheet for:
- Admin User Email Field
- Admin User First Name Field
- Admin User Last Name Field
- Note: no spaces or special characters
5. In the "Admin User Examples" section, input at least one admin user email to check formatting when mapping fields.
6. Click the “Field Mapping” tab and map each field from your Ad Hoc CSV file to the SchoolMint Enroll Admin User Fields.
- User the "Specific Program Access" section of the mapping tool to add additional program fields based on the unique program and grade access combinations that are needed
Account Activation Email Sent Upon Admin User Import
Newly created Admins will automatically be sent the account activation email titled: "Password Reset Required for SchoolMint Enroll Account Activation".

Manually Editing an Admin User Account
As always, admin accounts can be manually updated (or created) in Enroll by using the "Users" icon in the top navigation bar and selecting "Admin Accounts".
