Withdrawing vs Deleting?
Withdrawing a Registration
Withdrawing a registration form will remove it from the list of registrations to be reviewed for approval or denial. Withdrawing a registration form will NOT remove it from the Enroll platform. It will still be searchable and tied to the student it was submitted for.
Deleting a Registration
On the other hand, deleting a registration form WILL remove it entirely from the Enroll platform. It will not be searchable and it cannot be found when using filters. It is not available anywhere!
When should I withdraw vs delete a registration form?
You should withdraw a registration form if you intend to keep record of the student's form submission. If a guardian requests to have the form withdrawn and indicates they are no longer planning on attending your school, you will likely want to keep that form for your records and should withdraw it.
Deleting a registration form should be your course of action if the form was not intended to be submitted. This may occur if the school or grade to be registered to is incorrect.
In general, if you need to keep the form you should withdraw; if you need to remove the form and understand you will never get it back, delete!
