The MultApply feature enables parents to complete a single application and helps school admins manage applications from multiple organizations and efficiently copy them to those organizations.
We have designed two types of configurations based on the needs of the MultApply and Participating organizations: Centralized and Decentralized.
Note:
Currently, only the Centralized configuration is available; the Decentralized configuration is part of our future roadmap.
Definitions
Centralized:
Application: Parents select schools and complete applications on the MultApply organization’s website.
Lottery: Lotteries are conducted on the MultApply organization’s site. Once an offer is accepted, the application is copied to the Participating organization site, where parents are directed.
Registration: Parents will have the option to fill out and complete the registration form process on the Participating organization's website.
Copy Script:
Upon acceptance of the lottery seat, the student's application is almost immediately copied over to the Participating organization
Decentralized: (not yet released)
Application: Parents can initiate and submit applications on both the MultApply and Participating organization sites. Applications submitted to the MultApply organization will be copied to the Participating organization once they are submitted.
Lottery: Lotteries are conducted on the Participating organization’s site. Offers and the acceptance of offers will be managed on the Participating organization’s site.
Registration: After acceptance, parents will have the option to fill out and complete the registration form directly on the Participating organization’s site.
