What should I do if a problem occurs during the roll over process?
If a problem occurs with the roll over while the roll over processes are running, it should automatically roll back the changes.
It's unlikely to occur, but if there IS a problem and all data for a year needs to be deleted to re-run the roll over process, or perhaps in an internal environment you create the org with too many years in the future, then there is a script that can be run to clear this. You'll need to follow the process below to have this resolved:
Create a Zendesk Ticket and include:
- The Environment (prod, sandbox, etc.)
- The Org name and OrgID
- The School Year to be removed (ie. 2022-2023)
- It's REALLY important to provide the correct school year so that the wrong school year is not removed and historical student data is not lost.
This will go to the Maintenance team or the Platform team, if necessary.
