Here are some Q&A's from the webinar that we hope you find helpful:
Will the product name change from SchoolMint?
SchoolMint is the name of our company. SchoolMint Enroll is the name of this new enrollment platform. Customers on SchoolMint Legacy or SmartChoice are upgrading to Enroll.
When can we print data from Enroll?
We released the feature Download Forms in v1.8 in September. Check out the v1.8 release notes in the Enroll User Guide to learn more.
The fonts are (inconsistent and too large) when you print the application…when can that get fixed?
We will get that fixed asap through our Maintenance Team. Please report issues like that to Customer Care, thanks!
Can you make the Applications and Registrations tables sorted by other fields?
Use the Dynamic Views feature released in v1.8 - v1.9 in September to set up custom views of these tables including a user-defined sort order. In v1.10, you will also be able to set up dynamic views on the Students page.
When will the Enroll User Guide be built out more?
Continuously! We launched with the content we had so far, which is a really solid start but only the beginning. We can publish new content as soon as it is ready, so there is no need to wait for the next release. Feel free to send us a request for a new topic or more info on a certain topic.
When can we expect automated notifications to guardians based on application status etc.?
Workflow Notifications is on our roadmap for 2023!
How can an admin create an application on behalf of a family?
Look up the guardian in Users > Guardian Accounts. Click the Edit icon for that guardian, then from the left navigation, select Students where you can add a student or an application for a student.
Where is the Help icon to get to the Enroll User Guide? Do I need to log in to the User Guide?
We are adding the Help icon to the top header in v1.10 but today, you can get to the Enroll User Guide from the side panel "Need Help?" and selecting the Enroll User Guide from the top of the list of resources. You do not need to log in again to access the Enroll User Guide.
On the Applications page, why is the total number of applications different than the number of applicants?
Some students may have applied to more than one program.
Is there a way to mark applications we have reviewed but do not want to mark eligible yet?
One way to manage this workflow is to use an admin-only step on the application to indicate review status and then build a dynamic view on the Applications page to filter for that field by status.
Is it possible to add a DOB column on the Applications/Registrations pages?
Now there is! Use the Dynamic Views features to choose which columns you want to see on those pages.
Will there be a way to download the RSVP list for an event session?
In v1.10, we are adding Events to the Report Builder so you can create a report of RSVP's to run and download.
When will the message notification on the parent side work?
We are building the new admin notifications framework for v1.10 and will consider what we can do for parents in the future.
Will you consider opening up more options for filters so we don't have to use flags so much?
