Learn how to view the Changes Log for a Student
The Change History (or Changes Log) is an invaluable tool when tracking, testing, or investigating actions taken in the platform. This log provides field-level detail when a value on the Student or Student Annual tables has changed, who made the change, and what the old and new values are.
To view the Changes History, navigate to the Student Profile page. The student icon may be found throughout the platform under the Actions menu in the Applications, Registrations, or Students modules.
From within the Student Profile, click on the Change History button to view a Change Log for the student.
All changes for the student (fields on the Student or Student Annual table) are tracked by date, the user who took the action, and number of changes recorded on that date. Use the down arrows to expand the view.
Filtering is available to assist in searching for a specific field change:
- Search By Field Name
- After A Date
- Before A Date
You can expand any of the changes to view which fields were changed, as well as the original and new values of those fields.
