Ad hoc imports are available for: Students, Admins, Cut Off Numbers, Applications, Programs, Schools, Seat Tracker data Ad hoc exports are available for: Students data (for customers using Registrations module)
Automated SFTP export	SFTP import / export	In Sync Service, a SFTP (secure file transfer protocol) connection may be set up where SchoolMint and your organization can both send and receive secure files on a nightly basis. An SFTP connection is used when the SIS provider does not have a direct API with Enroll. SFTP imports are available for: Students, Seat Tracker data SFTP exports are available for: Students data (for customers using Registrations module)
API (Application Programming Interface)	API import / export (Application Programming Interface)	An API sync connection is only available for PowerSchool, Aeries, or Skyward Qmlativ. An API allows Enroll to "talk to" PowerSchool, Aeries, or Skyward directly to connect to their software in order to import and export student data nearly instantly.  Only Approved registrations are available for syncing.
Sync mapping	Field Mapping	The process of identifying which field in your .csv file or in your SIS is the equivalent to the form field in Enroll. The field mapping acts as the guide for import/exports to place data in the appropriate location.
Transformations	Transformations	Transformations are the reformatting of data to meet a system’s requirements to ensure the data is imported or exported successfully. Default transformation options are available on the mapping page for certain fields in Enroll or you may create your own transformations as needed.
Sync Log	Sync Log	The sync log is a list of sync attempts, including the status of successful or unsuccessful. Sync logs will also note syncs that are still in progress or syncs that only partially succeeded.
Codes	Field Codes	A set of codes (numerical or alpha) used in your SIS and in Enroll for fields such as relationships, race, ethnicity, states, countries, etc. Codes ensure consistency of data captured in a field. A file of Enroll codes is available for downloading from the mapping page in any type of connection (ad hoc, SFTP or API). For API connections, you can also download your own SIS codes.
