Understand what Return on Investment is and why it's important for Recruitment.
Return on Investment, or ROI, is the value you get from the effort and budget you allocate for a specific project. In Recruitment, ROI is tracked in terms of the amount of budget used to attract those students to your school versus the amount of funding received for every student that registers to attend your school. These numbers are saved in your settings and used in a calculation that determines how much value you are getting from the advertising and student recruiting efforts you spend money on.
For example, your budget for recruiting students is $20,000, and you receive $10,000 in funding for every student who registers at your school. Through your recruiting efforts, you get four students to register to your school. This means your ROI is 200%!
ROI is essential to keep track of because it helps you to understand the effectiveness and of your student recruitment efforts!
