What lead data can be imported?
The following fields may be included in the lead import. Fields indicated with an asterisk (*) are required.

The file must be in CSV format to import.
How do I navigate to the importer?
To navigate to the importer, go to Settings > Sync Service > Sync Service Login
How to I configure my connection?
To configure the connection once in Sync Service, click Add Sync Connection
Name the connection something that is easy to identify, such as "Lead Import." Select Ad Hoc or SFTP as the Connection Type.
On the left side panel, choose Import Leads Mapping
Upload CSV file
Enter the header titles from your file:
- Guardian Email field
- Guardian first Name field
- Guardian Last Name field
- Guardian Phone Number field
Enter some examples from your file under Lead Examples
How do I map my fields?
You will see a list of drawers for each type of field. Open the drawer to reveal the the corresponding fields.
You may use transformations as needed.
How do I send a test record?
Select Send Record at the top-right of the page. This will import the example lead that is currently selected.
How do I initiate the import?
Click the SchoolMint article to navigate back to the home page in Sync Service.
Click the kebab menu in the top-right corner of the connection card.
Click Import Leads
How can I ensure that the import was successful?
Navigate to Sync Logs at the top-right corner of the page.
Select Lead Import Logs
In the log, you may filter by the following conditions:
- Lead name
- Lead student name
- Lead email
- Associated school
- Lead phone
- Connection name
- Sync status
- Error code
- Date range (in which the lead was imported)
