In the Application process, the system will assign two (2) types of statuses to an application record:
- Application Submission Status
- Application Eligibility Status
- Showing Eligibility Status on Guardian Dashboard
Application Submission Status
The first status type indicates if the application has been submitted or not by a parent or an administrator:
- Submitted – Submitted by the parent or administrator, AKA completed.
- Not Submitted – Started and saved by the Parent or administrator but not yet complete, AKA incomplete.
- Withdrawn - The application has been withdrawn by the parent or an administrator and will no longer be considered with other applications. If withdrawn, the status cannot be changed, the parent must resubmit the application.
Application Eligibility Status
The second status type indicates how the application has been processed in preparation for the lottery:
- Eligible – This application is eligible to be run through the lottery.
- Ineligible – This application is not eligible to be run through the lottery.
- In Processing – New and has not been reviewed by administrators or marked as eligible or ineligible.
Showing Eligibility Status on Guardian Dashboard
Guardians can always view the submission status of their forms on their dashboard. By selecting View Submitted Forms, they can see all form processes they have completed.
Controlling Eligibility Status Visibility
You can choose whether guardians see their application eligibility status on the dashboard. This setting is managed at the program level.
Navigation path:
Settings > Schools / Programs > Manage Programs > Edit (or Bulk Options) > Application Settings > Show eligibility status on guardian dashboard
How the Setting Works
-
Enabled
Guardians will see the eligibility status for each submitted application when clicking View Submitted Forms, including:Eligible
Ineligible
In Processing
Disabled
Guardians will still see their submitted applications when clicking View Submitted Forms, but no eligibility status will be displayed.

Is there a way to hide application statuses on parent dashboard until after the lottery is run? Also, is there a way to edit verbiage of statuses? As other users have expressed, parents are confused by the term "eligible" and may think they have been accepted to a program before our lottery system is run.
