Enroll 1.10 Release Notes
Appeals
Enable Appeals on an application form to allow guardians to appeal an adverse decision on their application.
-
Guardians can submit an appeal for an application process (if enabled).
Admins can:
-
Act on the appeal.
-
Configure custom appeal forms.
-
Enable up to 3 triggers that will display the appeal option for guardians.
-
Configure the number of appeal chances allowed.
Admin Process Notifications
A Notifications page has been created so Admins can receive notifications within Enroll instead of, or in addition to, receiving an email about specific processes.
The Notification feature includes the following:
-
Notification icon (bell) with unread notifications indicator (red dot) in the Enroll header.
-
Centralized notifications on the Notifications page.
-
Filtering of notifications by Read, Unread, and Date Range.
-
Notification categories: Download Forms/Attachments, Process, Archived.
-
History of a notification.
-
Notification preferences to accept email/text and/or “in-app” notifications.
-
Notification Types: Download Forms/Attachments, Rollover Process, Migration Import.
Dynamic Views
-
Added Dynamic Views to the Students page.
Report Builder Enhancements
-
Additional data models for Events, Program Categories, and Appeals enable more report options.
-
Validation while building a report based on data model relationships reduces the possibility of building a report that cannot return any data.
-
Added data permission error handling. At runtime, the report checks the user's permissions to the data models in the report. If a user does not have access to one or more of the data models in the report, an error message will appear and the report will not run for that user.
-
Ability to schedule nightly exports to your SFTP server with a configured Sync Service SFTP connection.
-
Report Builder design is similar to the Dynamic Views feature used on the Application and Registration pages.
-
Sort report data by a column.
-
Report Views/Snapshots:
-
Leave the Reports page while a report is running. Access the Reports page later and click View to see the report.
-
Access Report History to see a list of report snapshots.
-
Each user can save up to 20 report snapshots for each report.
-
Bulk export report snapshots to a zip file.
-
Data in a snapshot is based on the permissions of the user who ran the report.
-
Snapshots are saved to a user’s report history only if that user ran the report.
-
Partial Sync
When syncing student records using an API connection:
-
If a student record fails to sync, only the contact(s) with an error will fail instead of the entire student record sync failing.
-
A “Partial Sync” status will display on the Registrations page and the Sync Log if any records fail to sync for this reason.
Place Multiples Together
This lottery setting places multiples with the sibling that has the highest lottery placement. They must have the same parent account and grade level. This setting does not apply to score-based lotteries that rely strictly on score.
-
A “Multiples” label will be visible to admins on the application, with the names of any multiples of the student listed below the label.
When Place Multiples Together is selected, the following can be required:
-
Same Address
-
Twin Setting (same birthday ±1 day)
Scheduling Enhancements
-
Session RSVPs are not booked until the application is submitted. This prevents invalid seats from being reserved.
-
Capacity warning - Admins receive a warning if potential RSVPs exceed an event’s session seating capacity.
-
RSVP confirmation by email/text.
-
Session reminder by email/text.
-
Event RSVPs can be searched/filtered on the Application and Registration pages.
-
Send bulk emails to parents related to specific events.
New Date Picker for Guardians
-
The Date Picker has been updated to make selecting a date more user-friendly.
-
Guardians can now type in a date instead of having to scroll vertically and horizontally to select the month and year.
Zoned School Banner
-
The optional banner indicates the student’s zoned school/program to the guardian.
-
Admins can enable the “Zoned School Banner” within the form process.
-
Admins set up a form field for Zoned School.
Minimum Choice Limit
-
Admins can set a minimum number of application choices within the application form process.
You can learn more about these features in the new Enroll User Guide! As an admin in Enroll, click the Need Help side panel and select Enroll User Guide. Search for a feature by keyword or go to the Enroll Product Releases topic and use the links in the release notes.
