Enroll 1.7 Release on July 15

Enroll's Summer Release Part 1 v1.7 deployed successfully to production on Friday, July 15. We decided to break up our Summer/Back to School feature release into two parts so that we could deploy completed work earlier. Summer Release Part 2 v1.8 is in progress and targeted to deploy by the end of August.

In addition to bug fixes and optimizations, we are excited to offer the following features in this 1.7 release:

Enroll 1.7 Release Notes

Print Forms

• Admins can download and print student application and registration forms.

Auto-Decline Warning Email

• Admins can configure a warning email to parents at a specified number of days before being auto-declined.

Lottery Placement Movement

• Any movement or change made to a student's placement in a lottery will show for admins in the placement history section of an application.

Deactivated Users

• Admins can locate deactivated user and guardian accounts and reactivate them if needed.

Table Refactor

• Updates to the Students, Registrations, Applications, and Users tables allow for infinite scrolling; the system automatically generates long lists of data rather than user experiencing extended wait times.

Admin Add Student

• Admins have the ability to link student profiles to guardian profiles so that they can better assist guardians and prevent creating duplicate students.:
• Add Existing Student: Admin has the ability to add an existing student to a guardian profile.
• Create New Student: Admin has the ability to create a new student and add them to the guardian profile.

Search by Student ID

• In all areas in which an admin could search for a student using their name, the admin can now search for them using Student ID. Admins can make partial or full searches to generate all results under that search.

Report Builder: Program Name & School Name

• Program Name & School Name can be added to the report builder in addition to the Program ID and School ID

Date & Time Format Transformations

• New Date & Time transformations supported are:
• YYYY-MM-DD (Enroll db format)
• YYYY/MM/DD
• MM-DD-YYYY
• MM/DD/YYYY
• DD-MM-YYYY
• DD/MM/YYYY
• YYYY-MM
• timestamp HH:MM:SS added to any of the above
• timestamp THH:MM:SS added to any of the above

Phone Number Format Transformations

• Phone Transformation occurs correctly in both import and export as 9999999999 or as [phone].

Schedule SFTP exports

• Scheduling of SFTP exports is also available on the Sync Service tab. 

Schedule Imports/Exports for Testing on Staging or Beta

• Admin can now enable a scheduled import or export on Beta or Staging for testing. The scheduled job will run once then turn off. If another test is needed, enable the job again.

Student Examples for Exports

• Set student IDs to use as student examples when mapping an export.

App Import with Student ID and Program ID

• Updated the workflow to use Student ID + Program ID as a unique identifier for applications.
