Enroll 1.8 Release Notes
Conditional Fields
- Gives the ability to have fields within a form step to hide or show based on answers to other questions in that step.
- Uses the power of the rules engine that now also works in the front end to have ultra-responsive UI.
- Known Issues:
- Download Forms/Attachments does not omit conditionally hidden fields. This is targeted for our next release.
Download Forms/ Attachments
- This feature allows admins to select attachments in the same dialog as your forms and manage your files.
Auto-decline for Registration
- Automatically decline registrations that are not accepted in a timely manner.
- Known Issues:
- When an admin manually declines a registration, the expiration date for the auto-decline is not cleared, potentially leading to confusion because it is no longer relevant.
Dynamic Views: Filters
- Admins have the ability to create custom filter sets and store them as a view. These views can be kept as a private view or shared globally with the organization (user permission permitting.)
Calculated Fields & Score Based Lottery
- Calculated fields enables admins to create custom calculations that could be used for determining income eligibility, grade calculations, and more.
- Available on all form processes
- Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Parenthetical expressions
- Use custom values
- The “Total” field will default to 0 if no values have been entered.
- Currently, the system does not prevent a user from selecting a non-active school year to copy a "calculation field: total" field to, but we plan to update that in the next release. The “calculation field: total” field cannot be duplicated to a non-active school year because there is no way to ensure all of the necessary fields in the calculation exist.
- Conditional fields used with the calculated fields: If a user inputs data into calculated fields that are conditional, but then chooses to hide the fields, the “Total” field will calculate using the data in the hidden fields. An update to prevent hidden fields from being used in calculations will be in a future release.
- Configure calculations within the UI using a new calculation engine.
- Known Issues:
- The new Score Lottery option enables organizations with the ability to design a lottery based on placing students in a defined score order.

Report Builder Enhancements
- We've added several data models to the Report Builder along with a validation feature to help you build reports with proper data joins.
- Column headings default to the field names.
Sync Service Enhancements
- The Registrations page now includes a Sync Status and Last Sync date/time column in the registrations table. Hover over a Failed status to see the error message.
- UI/UX Improvements
- Transformations: If Then Else, Data Length, Enroll School Year
- Configure Lookup UX Update
- Updated Email Address to allow CAPS
- Reg ID + Student ID is now used to indicate registration records/syncs
- Known Issue: In certain circumstance, a PowerSchool connection in Sync Service may throw an error if syncing certain communication fields with the latest version of PowerSchool. Please submit a support ticket if you have an issue with syncing with PowerSchool v22.7 or later.
Remove Duplicate Schools in Dropdown Through Guardian Sites
- Allows admins to delete schools from dropdown list that is shown through the guardian site so that parents are not able to pick schools that are no longer available.
- This was originally a maintenance ticket where multiple schools were running into the same issue.
Form Step Green Checkbox Enhancements
- Shows green check-marks in form steps when they are valid to make it more clear which steps have been successfully completed.
Improved Font size and Styling for Download Forms/Attachments
- Condensed the font size and improved styling of download attachments so that more information can be displayed on a single page for viewing digitally and printing.
Email Template Permissions
- Allows admins to only see email templates when using ad-hoc communications that they have permissions to use.
- The goal of this enhancement is to make which template an admin should use more clear.
