Enroll version 1.3.2 is deployed successfully to production!
Below are the list of features included in this release. Click here for a PDF of the walkthrough.
Registrations Table
-
The registration table will function similarly to the application table.
-
Registration/ re-registration records are no longer saved to the student record. They are now saved to a new registration record allowing for better tracking individual registration forms.
-
Fields can be saved to the `registration` record
-
When needed custom field extensions can be saved to the registration record in the form builder.
-
Admins can track registrations that have been withdrawn and filter for them.
-
By moving the registration/ re-registration off of the student record we can now better track and report on withdrawn registrations.
-
The Not Started filter has been deprecated.
-
This filter pulled all student data regardless of if the student qualified for registration/ re-registration. This often lead to errors in reporting.
-
Workaround for those wanting to report on not started registrations: create a report using the same rules set to determine student eligibility for registration/ re-registration
-
Parents can edit and withdraw the registration from their parent dashboard.
-
A student can only have one (1) active registration. An active registration is considered submitted and not withdrawn. If a student starts a new registration for a different school the guardian will see an alert advising them that the first registration will be withdrawn; the parent will have the option to confirm prior to completing the withdrawal action.
-
User permissions added:
-
Withdraw enrollment: When enabled a user is able to see the withdraw button in a student’s registration form and can withdraw a student’s registration form.
-
Delete enrollment: When enabled a user is able to see the delete button in a student’s registration form and can delete the student’s registration form.
Parent Notes
- Parent Notes: When admins create parent notes visible to parents they will do so for notes related to applications.
Re-enable Grade Levels
- Re-enable Grade Levels: Previously grade levels once disabled could never be re-enabled. Now grade levels can be re-enabled.
Date Condition Rules
- Date Conditions in Rules Engine: The rules engine now has the ability to evaluate dates. This is available in all places where the rules engine is used except for Reports.
No Priority Filter
- A No Priority option has been added to the Priority filter on the Applications list page to search for students who don’t have a priority.
Bulk Offer
- Bulk Offer functionality has been added to the lottery results page so that admin can move multiple waitlisted students to offered efficiently.
Scheduling User Permissions
- Scheduling User Permissions have been added for Events and RSVPs with view, edit, delete permissions.
Usability/ Integrity Updates
- Confirm Delete and other data integrity/stability improvements have been made.
Update Form Upon Submission/ Dates Closed
- Allow Changes After Submission
- This setting is found on the form step level
- When enabled (checked) the step is able to be edited after the form has been submitted. This applies to parents and admins.
- When disabled (not checked) the step is NOT able to be edited after the form has been submitted. This restriction will only apply to parents; admins will still have edit access.
- Ability to enable a restriction to determine which form steps can be edited after the form has been submitted.
- Allow Changes when Window Closed
- The setting is found on the form step level
- When enabled (checked) the step is able to be edited after the date window for the form has closed. This applies to parents and admins.
- When disabled (not checked) the step is NOT able to be edited after the date window for the form has closed and the form has been submitted. This restriction will only apply to parents; admins will still have edit access.
- Ability to enable a restriction to determine which form steps can be edited after the date window for the form has closed.
Sync Service Contact Mapping
Sync Service Contact Mapping is a great new feature for Enroll integrations with PowerSchool, Aeries, and Skyward which have contact tables with a one-to-many relationship between a student record and the student's contacts in a separate table. How do you tell the system which contact record to use for the primary guardian or the emergency contact? With Contact Mapping, you can!
Use the new Table Lookup feature to map the source table, field, and condition to identify which contact record to import for a set of contact fields. Or for exports, map the destination table and fields, and Sync Service will either update an existing contact record or create a new record in the SIS.
Bulk Export Lottery Results
On the Lottery Results page, you can now select multiple lotteries and use a new bulk action to bulk export the results into a CSV.
Enhanced Migration Scripts
We made several enhancements to the data migration scripts for importing data from SchoolMint Legacy or SmartChoice when upgrading to Enroll.
