Enroll 2.7 was successfully released the evening of May 27, 2025, and included the following items:

New Settings Tab: Applications

Prior to this Enroll 2.7 release, certain application settings were located on an Internal tab only available to SchoolMint staff. A new tab, "Applications", has been added to the Settings left sidebar to make these Application settings available to admin users with the associated permission.

 

This tab will be visible to admins with the new permission below:  

  • Settings: Applications

 

The functionality that can be enabled/disabled on the Application Settings page includes:

  • Default Eligibility Status
    • The status assigned to an application upon Submission (In Processing, Eligible, Ineligible)
  • Enable Appeals
    • Process for families to dispute or provide additional information regarding application eligibility, waitlist placement, or an auto-decline action
  • Remove Application Submission & Eligibility Statuses when Waitlist is Rolled Over
    • Waitlisted applications that are rolled over into your new school year must be resubmitted by families and reviewed for eligibility by admins
  • Allow Guardians to Submit Applications After Application End Date
    • Permits families to submit new applications after your application window is closed
  • Keep Submitted Timestamp Consistent Across All Applications for a Student
    • When editing or submitting a new application, the date timestamp across all applications for a student will be updated
  • Require Admins to Enter an Ineligibility Reason
    • A new feature available in Enroll 2.7 that allows organization to capture a reason (from a pre-built list) when an admin marks an application as ineligible

Display Platform Content Value for lottery_list in Reports and Saved Views

If your organization uses the Platform Content Tool to rename the terms "waiting" or "offered" to display alternative names, you now have the ability to display the alternative naming in Reports and Saved Views.

Under Settings > Content/Letters > Manage System/Platform Content, changing the terminology for the content keys below will show your new terminology in Reports and Saved Views.

  • lotteryRanking.lotterylist.offered > Ex: "offered" changed to "selected"
  • lotteryRanking.lotterylist.waiting > Ex: "waiting" changed to "alternate"

 

Note: The "Export Lists" button on the Lottery Lists page will still display the terms "offered" and "waiting".

 

Additional Tables included in Annual Rollover process

Fields from the two tables below are now included in the annual rollover process: 

  • program_annual
  • school_annual

These fields will have the option to be enabled to "Clear on Rollover".

 

Fields from the program_annual and school_annual tables are most often used on your SchoolFinder form, a Custom Schools tab, or a Custom Programs tab.

Enhanced Accessibility of Guardian View: Tooltips

On our continued path to greater accessibility for guardians, the following enhancements have been made:

  • On the Guardian Log In and Sign Up screens, tooltips remain visible when the cursor is moved anywhere within the text box or tooltip box
  • The tooltip can now be hidden using the Escape 'esc' button, in addition to moving the cursor outside of the text box or tooltip box

 

 

Internal Security Setting: PII Lock for SchoolMint Users

Once an organization has completed implementation, the CXM will enable a new setting on the Internal tab: "PII Lock for SchoolMint Users". 

Once this setting is enabled, SchoolMint users who have not been designated as a pre-approved user to make production site changes for this customer will only have access to non-production/test instances.

 

New! Recruitment module powered by SchoolMint Enroll

Coming later this year, SchoolMint Enroll’s newest innovation, Recruitment. A powerful new module built for single-site charter schools. Recruitment will give you an integrated way to attract families, track interest, and follow every prospective family from first click to completed enrollment.

It also seamlessly connects with our digital advertising service, so you’ll see exactly which campaigns are working and where families are coming from. Say goodbye to spreadsheets and guesswork.

Recruitment functionality that is available with the Enroll 2.7 release includes:

  • Interest Tracking via Leads Dashboard
  • Conversion Funnel through Application and Registration
  • Attribution to Marketing Campaigns
  • CRM Functionality to Email and Text Interested Families

A version for networks and districts will be coming in early 2026.
